Exams, deadlines and high expectations can make studying stressful and emotionally demanding. To help students manage these challenges, the Psychotherapeutic Counselling Service at Studierendenwerk Würzburg is offering two workshops in November.
Workshop "Stress Management"
Tuesday, 24 November 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Stress is a common part of student life. But what causes stress, and how can we learn to manage it more effectively?
This workshop combines an individual stress assessment with short-term and long-term stress management strategies. Participants will learn to identify their personal stress factors and explore practical techniques to make everyday university life more manageable.
Workshop "Exam Anxiety? Don't Panic!"
Wednesday, 25 November 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Exams can cause nervousness, uncertainty and anxiety. When these feelings become overwhelming, they can make both exam preparation and the exams themselves considerably more difficult.
In this workshop, participants will explore the causes of exam anxiety and develop strategies to approach upcoming exams feeling well-prepared and mentally confident.
