New Opening Hours of the SHL Cafeteria from 01 December 2025
In our recent survey on the SHL Cafeteria, many of you indicated that longer opening hours in the afternoon would be more convenient – even if this means opening a little later in the morning.
We are pleased to inform you that we are implementing your feedback:
From 01 December 2025, the SHL Cafeteria will be open two hours longer from Monday to Thursday. This allows you to grab snacks and small meals even before or after your late-afternoon classes.
New opening hours from 01 December 2025
Monday to Thursday: 9:00–16:30
Friday: 9:00–12:00

The Cafeteria at the Studentenhaus is currently open only until 11:00 a.m. From 11:15 a.m. onwards, a small cafeteria selection is available in the Mensa!

Between lectures or for a break in our cafeterias, we offer a wide selection of food:
Vegetarian, vegan and meat-based snacks, hot bar, sweet pastries and dairy products as well as fruit.
The range is often extended to include special offers.
All cafeteria offers are available at student-friendly prices. These prices are the same in all cafeterias. As the cafeterias are not subsidized, they have to cover their costs. We ask our guests not to bring food and drinks from outside.
