Dominik Kampf, who will join the Studierendenwerk Würzburg effective 1 April 2024, will take over as Managing Director on 1 May 2024. The Administrative Board of the Studierendenwerk has chosen Mr. Kampf, holder of a degree in business management, because of his qualifications and his extensive leadership experience. The members of the Administrative Board are pleased that they have been able to fill this important role with a candidate who will be able to put the organisation in a strong position to meet the challenges ahead.

Dr. Dagmar Steuer-Flieser, Chairwoman of the Administrative Board of the Studierendenwerk Würzburg:

We were looking for a candidate who not only has the necessary professional and analytical skills but who is also a strong communicator. An organisation like the Studierendenwerk Würzburg always works with and for people, which is why aspects relating to people orientation have played an important part in the recruitment process. I believe that Mr. Kampf is the right choice in that respect, too.

Dominik Kampf, new Managing Director:

I will take on the position of Managing Director of the Studierendenwerk Würzburg full of commitment and positive expectations and look forward to supporting our staff members in their efforts to meet the needs of our students in the best way possible.

This means that we will be a strong and reliable partner for our universities. It is a great pleasure for me as the new Managing Director of the Studierendenwerk Würzburg to be part of a team that works tirelessly for the benefit of our students. I am convinced that, with collaboration, transparency, communication and a common goal, we will be able to meet the challenges we are facing. Together we will ensure that the Studierendenwerk Würzburg will remain a place that fosters diversity, inclusion and personal growth. Current issues relating to the digital transformation, sustainability, multiple crises and other aspects create an environment full of new opportunities and risks for our students. In the light of this, it is our responsibility to create the best possible framework conditions for our students by providing them with social, economic and cultural support and promoting their health and wellbeing.
