This student residence is close to the Campus I at Ignaz-Schön-Straße and Campus II at Konrad-Geiger-Straße 2. There are good bus connections (bus stop "Florian-Geyer-Straße", lines 22, 23, 24, 25 and 29) directly in front of the door.

This student residence is usually not available for incoming full-time students and foreign students of the FHWS i-campus project. This concerns e.g. the following courses:

• International Management (B. A.)
• Logistics (B. Eng.)
• Mechatronics (B. Eng.)
• Robotics (B. Eng.)

This is not relevant to exchange students.

Person who do not study at FHWS will not be offered a room (as of 11.10.2021)

Description

Students like living here, because it is close to the University of Applied Sciences at Ignaz-Schön-Straße, has a car park and a generous rooftop terrace.

Type of Housing

This student residence currently provides the following types of housing:

• Single apartments
  The tenant lives alone in a private room and has a kitchenette and bathroom of her/his own.
• Single rooms in shared apartments for 3 persons
  The apartment is shared by three tenants. Each tenant has a private, lockable room. The kitchen and bathroom are used by all three tenants.

The rental of single rooms within a shared apartment is independent of the gender of the individual residents. Therefore, it is possible, that within a shared apartment, there can be living either men only or women only or men and women together. The same applies to ethnic origin, religion, belief, disability, age and sexual orientation.

• 87 single apartments (approx. 15 m² to 25 m²)
• 21 single rooms in shared apartments for 3 persons (7 shared apartments, approx. 69 m²)

Internet Access

In this residence a wired internet connection is provided by Hotzone GmbH. The costs for the flat rate are part of the utility cost payment that is contained in the rent.
